Primary Responsibilities: I am accountable for collaborating with the Creative and Technical teams to meet and exceed the integrity of the quality, detail and execution of the Aritzia garments.

Describe a typical work day:

A typical day consists of partnering with Creative Design, Technical, Patternmaking, Production, Sourcing, and Applied Graphics throughout the day to ensure designs are clear and concise in the specs. It starts off with a hand-off of hand sketches from the designer and leads to pulling together with technical to come up with the best way to construct the garment, while making sure all trims/wash/graphics are perfected and approvable for the delivery deadlines.

What accomplishment(s) are you most proud of?

I’m most proud of my work with denim. Fabric, wash, fit and all details that encompass denim products. I am glad my passion for this malleable fabric has become a focus in my fashion career which allows me to continue to expand my knowledge and capabilities with denim.

What are your creative inspirations or influences? Who are your heroes?

I get so inspired by people. I love people watching and seeing how other put themselves together. The simplicity or complexity of there day to day looks get me inspired. When it comes to who are my heroes its all those risk takers that are not afraid of showing there true colours through there creative media be it art/music/fashion.
