Anahit Lou - Graphic Design Faculty

Anahit Lou

Anahit Lou is a multidisciplinary designer, art director and educator inclined to modernism, committed to ethical design, and sincerely fascinated by the minimalism movement. She studied and trained at law school and later followed her passion for design at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, she was able to practice and combine entrepreneurial confidence and strategic thinking with conceptual thoughts that helped her to bring creative projects to life.

Anahit worked as a junior graphic designer for real estate marketing agencies while still in school. In 2013, she established her own design studio and she has been working collaboratively with local and international brands. Most of her practices focuses on branding and art direction, concept design and interior design project consultation. Since 2017, she was honoured to be an educator at LaSalle College Vancouver which confidently she admits was the most astonishing achievement in her career.

Anahit's true infatuation with phenomenology (the philosophical study of human experience) has shaped most of her projects. She truly believes in human interaction and experience through the design process. It unfolds the peculiar cultural and social approaches that relate to each work.
