Celeste Lucero Maas is a queer jewellery artist and educator, born in Argentina, with a deep commitment to the field of Art Jewellery and its research. Her work explores the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and conceptual jewellery, emphasizing its evolving cultural significance in artistic expression.

Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Art Appraisal from the Universidad del Museo Social Argentino, Celeste has extensive experience in exhibition coordination. She served as Chair of Exhibitions for the Vancouver Metal Arts Association (VMAA) and directed Mutante Jewellery School and Gallery in Buenos Aires, where she curated multidisciplinary exhibitions and fostered creative community engagement.

Celeste has exhibited internationally and is currently involved in the development of the Printmedia Residency – Metal Arts, a locally run program housed by the Malaspina Printmakers Society and supported by VMAA, which supports local and international jewellers and metal artists.
