Charlotte Chang

Born and raised in Beijing, China, Charlotte Di Chang developed an interest in theatrical costumes very early on. She started her journey at University of the Arts London and enrolled in the Theatre and Screen: Costume Interpretation program. After graduation, she spent a year working with both large-scale and independent theatres in Beijing. Charlotte then moved to Vancouver to further her education and career. At the University of British Columbia, she also found her passion in Set Design. In 2020, she received her MFA degree in Theatre Design and Production and began her career in Vancouver.

Charlotte Chang is a Costume and Scenic Designer for theatre and film, who is also specialised in period costume construction. She has worked with many production companies such as Bard on the Beach, Paramount Television Studios, Affair of Honor, Ne.Sans Opera, Oats Studios, etc. Charlotte has also worked as a Costume Designer/ Pattern Maker at Marlowe Windsor Dance Co., where she refined her skills and expertise in dance wear.
