Ellie Miri - Interior Design Faculty

Ellie Miri's passion for design began at an early age. Years of falling in love with colors, textures, shapes and patterns is what drove her to pursue a career in Interior Design.

Ellie, Founder of m+ Interior Design, obtained a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the University of British Columbia, and later went on to pursue her Interior Design Masters degree from Boston Architectural College, while working at an Interior Design firm based in Massachusetts.

"Interior design isn't just a passion. It's what gives me my greatest sense of purpose", she says.

Ellie uses her unique talents for visioning spaces to design an array of projects from single and multi-family residential, to hospitality and healthcare facilities, as well as Corporate and Tenant Improvement. Her focus is on the design conception and development phases of projects and she applies her knowledge to her course developments as well.

Thoroughly involved with the selection and specification of finishes, millwork, furnishings, fixtures and signage drawings, Ellie also uses her creative expertise to generate visual presentation boards and implements processes to prepare site instructions and contemplated change notices during construction phase of projects.
