Mohadesseh Taheri

Fashion Design Faculty

Mohaddeseh Taheri is a highly qualified fashion design educator with a wealth of international experience and a passion for teaching. She holds a Master’s degree in Design for the Fashion System from the prestigious Politecnico di Milano, where she specialized in merchandising marketing and honed her advanced garment construction techniques. Her educational journey also includes a Bachelor’s degree in Technology of Design and Sewing Clothes from the esteemed University of Applied Science and Technology in Iran, as well as an Associate Degree from Dr. Shariaty Technical and Vocational College.

Currently serving as a dedicated instructor at Lasalle College, Mohaddeseh teaches comprehensive courses in Garment Construction, Pattern Drafting, Fashion Illustration, and Fashion Flats. She previously led the Fashion Design Department at the renowned Pacific Design Academy, where she fostered a dynamic and hands-on learning environment focused on meticulous sample making and innovative garment construction. Her diverse teaching portfolio also includes work with the Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria, where she empowered students with practical skills in fashion design.

With a rich professional background that spans multiple facets of the fashion industry, Mohaddeseh combines her dedication to both theory and practice, bringing a unique and inspiring perspective to her teaching. She is committed to helping her students excel in both the creative and technical aspects of fashion design, preparing them for successful careers in this vibrant field.
