Mohsen Saberi - Associate of Arts Faculty

Mohsen Saberi

As a registered dietitian and a graduate of the University of British Columbia with a M.Sc. in Nutrition, Mohsen Saberi has been an active mentor at the Land and Food Systems faculty at UBC, a preceptor for dietetic interns, and an educator to supervisors & junior managers in Food Services industry for the past 12 years. Mohsen’s extensive knowledge in course and program development has enabled him to develop curriculums for Food & Nutrition Management programs throughout the industry.

Throughout his professional experience Mohsen oversaw the food production & delivery, diet flow and modifications, safety practices and operational efficiencies. Mohsen also trained the food services staff at UBC Hospital to ensure safe and nutritious food production and delivery to about 350 clients. Mohsen contributed to the publication of a study guide to help supervisors write an entry exam to join Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM).

Mohsen is an impassionate educator who uses student-centered and evidence-based approach in his teaching and training activities.

Amongst his peers, Mohsen is known as an excellent team player who functions nicely in a team and is incredibly passionate about his students’ educational experience and development.
