Sara Namdarian
Sara is an interior designer with 15 years of experience living in Malaysia and the UK before relocating to Canada early 2021. She holds a Master of Architecture Science (M.Arch) from the Universityof Malaysia a B.A. in Interior Architecture from the UK. With a career spanning since 2009, she has undertaken over 60 commercial and residential projects across Malaysia, Iran, and Canada, alongside her roles in public and private academies such as research, teaching, academic coordination while actively engaging in design and construction projects. With a strong dedication to education and fostering the design community, Sara has been involved in various capacities within academia, including teaching and mentoring international students at different global universities. Her roles have encompassed full-time educator, guest speaker, and industrial advisor for international interior architecture students. She is also IIDA local branch director, a professional associate member of IDC (Interior Designers of Canada) and has served as a juror for IDC and IIDA students.
Sara joined LaSalle College Vancouver as a sessional instructor in the Fall of 2022, continuing her journey of sharing knowledge and expertise within the design realm.
