In this hands-on cooking class in Vancouver, part of the Kitchen Series at LaSalle College Vancouver (LCV), you'll shape and bake a baguette with a proper crust and open crumb, hand-roll a batch of dinner buns, and build a sourdough loaf from a live starter — mixing, shaping, scoring, and baking every piece yourself. Three distinct processes, one session, each one teaching you something different about how bread actually works.

Led by one of LCV's Baking and Pastry Arts chef instructors in a professional kitchen built for exactly this kind of foundational work, you'll leave with a real understanding of bread — not just the steps, but the reasoning behind them.

Each class includes a welcome drink paired to the menu, plus recipes and an apron to take home.
