Ana d’Carvalho

Fashion Design Faculty

Ana is a multifaceted professional specializing in Personal & Fashion Styling, Sustainable Fashion Design, Content Creation, and Color Theory. With over 15 years of experience, she has served as a mentor, consultant, and international speaker in areas such as Personal Branding, Fashion Design, Styling, Trends, Color Strategy, and Public Speaking.

Fluent in three languages, Ana is dedicated to sustainable design methodologies, with a particular focus on upcycling and advanced colour innovation. Her contributions include the publication of 21 Days of Style, a personal styling book, and the creation of The Fashion Games, a sustainable design competition aimed at raising awareness among fashion students during SDG Week at LaSalle College Vancouver.

Ana’s educational background includes studies at prestigious institutions such as LCI Bogotá, LaSalle College Vancouver, London College of Fashion, FIT New York, and Istituto Marangoni Milan, where she earned her master’s degree.

Throughout her career, Ana has worked with renowned brands such as Dolce & Gabbana and John Galliano before establishing her own consultancy business. She has delivered lectures and workshops globally, partnering with universities, institutions, and companies across Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Chile, and the United States.

As a content creator and micro-influencer, Ana has developed online courses and served as a product marketing manager for fashion design programs. She also contributed as a social media and content coordinator for LaSalle College Vancouver. In her role as an educator, she has designed and taught courses in personal branding, leadership, public speaking, colour theory, image consultancy, fashion styling, and design.

Since 2020, Ana has been at the forefront of sustainable design, exploring techniques such as zero-waste pattern drafting and upcycling. She has collaborated with organizations like Fashion Revolution Canada and Apparel Camp, positioning herself as a leader in fashion upcycling methodologies.
