Vancouver, BC — LaSalle College Vancouver (LCV), proud member of LCI Education network, is expanding its academic offerings with the launch of three new diploma programs under its newly established School of Information Technology, welcoming its first cohort in Fall 2026. This development reflects the college’s ongoing commitment to providing industry‑relevant, future‑focused education that meets the evolving needs of students and employers in British Columbia.
Applications are now open for Fall 2026 for the following programs:
Computer Science: Web and App Development
This 12‑month diploma program prepares students to build responsive websites, interactive applications, and digital products using modern programming languages and frameworks. The program emphasizes full‑stack development, UI/UX fundamentals, databases, and deployment workflows, preparing graduates for roles in web development, app development, and software support. A co‑op option is also available, giving students the opportunity to further develop real‑world experience and build industry connections before graduation.

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

These three new programs mark the introduction of IT studies at LaSalle College Vancouver, but they are not new to the LCI Education network, which has delivered technology programs for decades across its global campuses. With more than 65 years of academic excellence rooted in Montreal and established IT programs in cities such as Montreal, Casablanca, and Tunis, the network brings deep expertise to Vancouver. This expansion offers students in British Columbia access to globally informed curriculum and international learning pathways.
