On Wednesday, June 3, 2026, LaSalle College Vancouver (LCV) marked one of the most celebrated milestones in its institutional history: Convocation. Held this year at the iconic River Rock Theatre in Richmond, BC, the ceremony brought together 919 graduating students across three ceremonies — making it one of the largest convocation celebrations in a single day in LaSalle College Vancouver’s history.

Family members, faculty, staff, and friends filled the venue as graduates from the Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 graduating classes crossed the stage — each one stepping forward as a post-secondary graduate, ready to enter their field and make their mark on Vancouver’s creative, business, and technology industries.

Three Ceremonies, One Alumni Community

The day unfolded across three separate graduation ceremonies, each honoring students from LaSalle College Vancouver’s diverse range of post-secondary certificate, diploma and degree programs — spanning the Faculties of Art, Design and CommunicationFashionGaming and AnimationHospitality and Culinary; and Social Sciences.

Each ceremony featured special remarks from Dr. Jamie Kemp, Chief Academic Officer; Robin Dhir, Board Chair; and Chris Velasco, Acting President of LaSalle College Vancouver — whose words of encouragement, pride, and inspiration set the tone for a truly memorable day.

The ceremonies were also marked by moving valedictorian addresses from three outstanding graduates: Felipe Ferraz De Miranda (Associate of Arts Degree, Fall 2025), Aavishi Aavishi (Associate of Arts Degree, Winter 2026), and Lena Hannah Dallas (Bachelor of Interior Design, Winter 2026) — each sharing a unique perspective on their journey through LCV and the road ahead.

From aspiring game designers and culinary professionals to fashion technologists and designers, graphic designers, and business leaders, the graduating class of 2025–2026 represents the full breadth of what a LaSalle College Vancouver education delivers: hands-on training, industry-relevant skills, and deeply creative thinking that employers are looking for.

By crossing that stage, each graduate becomes part of a global alumni network of creative professionals, innovators, and industry leaders united through LCI Education. A community spanning 23 campuses across 5 continents that opens doors, spans borders, and lasts a lifetime.
