Overview
About the Graphic Design Diploma
The Online Graphic Design Program at LaSalle College Vancouver prepares students for a professional career in graphic design through a structured and accessible Online Diploma format. The program allows students to gain real-world experience and build practical skills while maintaining flexibility in how and where they study, without requiring prior experience and with learning objectives clearly defined within the scope of the diploma.
The curriculum delivers learner-centred, skills-based training through interactive online learning that builds hands-on competencies in art, visual communication, layout, typography, business branding, and advanced digital design.
As learning progresses, students create and refine a professional portfolio that demonstrates creative thinking, technical proficiency, and problem-solving skills. These studies enable graduates to clearly envision their career path and apply graphic design fundamentals to shape effective visual communication across industries.
