Describe a Typical Work Day:

As Executive Chef I am responsible for all activities related to the production and service of menu items, managing the activities and workflow for all tasks required for production, presentation and service. I ensure proper preparation, delivery and service of food to events. Place orders and receive supplies, prepare the timesheet for production for every event so we can execute properly and keep to time with the team.

What accomplishment(s) are you proud of?

ARIS’ CUISINE has been able to cater events for about 500 to 700 people consistently the food was always served on time, delicious, presentation on point and service excellent. We have catered weddings, Parties, Ceremonies, Anniversaries, birthday celebrations and church events. We are proud of the feedbacks from clients and everyone who has patronised us.

What do you enjoy the most about your career?

I love cooking! Making the dishes come alive with flavors and making different cuisines from around the world is my passion. Being able to achieve the impossible when you are racing against time the pressure from it all and accomplishing the goal at the end of it all is the most amazing feeling ever! I get to make peoples events so special with the food and when the clients are happy it’s the most rewarding ever!

How did your education at LaSalle College Vancouver help prepare you for your career?

LaSalle College Vancouver has helped me with a lot of knowledge, concepts and fine-tuned my cooking skills. My presentation style down to doing everything professionally and getting my work ethics in place, it taught me discipline and time management as a very important factor in business. LaSalle College brought out the art in me, I am able to create and decorate with style. LaSalle College Vancouver has made me a success story with my business, I am able to run it diligently because of what I was taught in LaSalle College Vancouver, they are indeed the very best!

What advice do you have for people beginning their careers in your profession?

Be passionate and love what you do, it will show in your work. Work hard, be disciplined, and you can achieve anything you go after with LaSalle College Vancouver.
