On May 11, during the week of ICEF Vancouver 2025, LaSalle College Vancouver proudly hosted 150 international education agents for an exclusive Sneak Peek Party.
In partnership with the Canada Partnership Forum, the event offered an exclusive first look inside our nearly completed, state-of-the-art campus, a unique evening designed to celebrate cross-border education and highlight our commitment to creativity, innovation, and world-class learning.

A First Look Inside Our New Campus
The tour went far beyond a typical walkthrough of our 108,000-square-foot, seven-storey facility. Each floor was transformed into an interactive showcase, fully immersing guests in the breadth of LaSalle’s programs, from art and design to fashion, film, and culinary arts.
The evening also featured a vibrant 360° photo booth, rooftop networking with breathtaking panoramic views of Vancouver, and a multisensory journey through the heart of our creative community.

Inside Our Programs: Each Floor an Immersive Experience
Media Arts: Behind the Screens
The experience began in our Media Arts department, where guests explored the worlds of Game Programming, Game Design, and Film. Interactive stations showcased student-created video games, live 3D modeling and animation demos by faculty, and a mock film set designed to replicate an on-set experience, complete with opportunities for guests to step in front of the camera for playful behind-the-scenes photos.

Inside Design: A Live Gallery
The fifth floor was transformed into a dynamic live gallery, offering a window into the creative universe of our Graphic and Interior Design Bachelor programs. From innovative beverage packaging concepts to detailed architectural renderings, each project reflected the visual storytelling, ingenuity, and technical mastery that define our design curricula.
A highlight of the evening was a live charcoal illustration by Angel Torella, Graphic Design instructor and artist, who sketched the Vancouver skyline and our future campus in real time, demonstrating remarkable precision and artistry with every stroke to bring the scene vividly to life.

Inside Fashion: From Backstage to Runway
Just steps away, the fashion experience whisked guests through a captivating 360° journey, from concept to catwalk.
The evening opened with a behind-the-scenes glimpse at a live photo shoot featuring alumnus Keiya Nagai and his acclaimed collection Sentimental Records, previously showcased at Vancouver Fashion Week. Guests walked the red carpet alongside professional models, snapped photos, and explored pieces crafted by current students, showcasing techniques such as knitwear, rust dyeing, and fabric manipulation.
Visitors then entered Dana’s Atelier, a beautifully curated, tactile space where alumna Dana demonstrated drafting and pattern sketching—offering an intimate look into the design process. Dana, who recently presented her collection at Vancouver Fashion Week, celebrates textured menswear and handcrafted details in her work.
The tour culminated with an exclusive showcase by Fashion Design alumnus Eduardo Ramos, whose avant-garde collections have graced the runways of Vancouver, New York, Paris, and London Fashion Weeks, a true celebration of bold expression, meticulous craftsmanship, and visionary inspiration.

Inside Culinary: A Flavourful Grand Finale
And for the grand finale, the Sneak Peek Party didn’t just showcase our visual and performance-based programs; it also gave our guests a flavorful glimpse into the world of Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry.
In collaboration with program leads and instructors, an exclusive, well-curated menu was crafted to highlight both technique and artistry. This event was not only an opportunity to savor exceptional cuisine; it was also a real-world, hands-on learning experience for our students. Over several days of preparation, they worked side by side with faculty to plan, plate, and serve a high-volume event. The result was a flawless, and delicious performance.
From cheese gougères that melted in your mouth to mini lemon verbena tartlets that were almost too pretty to eat, the culinary experience offered something for every palate—and earned plenty of gasps and satisfied smiles.

Connecting Creativity Across Borders
This remarkable evening was more than a celebration, it was a spark for what’s to come. As we prepare to open our new campus, we’re excited to continue building global connections and shaping the future of creative education—together.
