Chef Mandy Vial - Baking and Pastry Faculty Lead
Mandy graduated with honours from LaSalle College Vancouver’s Baking and Pastry Diploma program in 2013. Upon graduation, Mandy spent time working as a pastry assistant before securing the role as Head Pastry Chef at the leading Tri-Cities Italian bakery, Casa Del Pane. During her time as Head Pastry Chef, Mandy received certification as a Red Seal Professional Baker.
Mandy continues to develop professionally through active industry involvement and continuing education. Mandy also spends time giving back to community through volunteering with the Growing Chefs Society where she taught children about urban agriculture. It was through this experience that Mandy found her love for teaching which inspired her to come back where it all started. Mandy uses her experience as a student, and as a professional pastry chef, to teach her students what is required to learn, grow, and succeed.
