Admission Requirements

International admission requirements are for students who are neither a Canadian citizen nor an official permanent resident of Canada, nor a convention refugee.

All international applicants to LaSalle College Vancouver must meet the same admission standards as domestic students.

An applicant must meet one of the following conditions:

  • Be a high school graduate

  • Possess a recognized high school equivalency (GED® - General Education Diploma)

  • Qualify as a mature student, being not less than 19 years of age as of the start date of the program

  • Meet the English language requirements for studying in Canada

Required Documents

We’ll guide you through the admissions process, which starts when you submit a completed application form.

An international student seeking to enroll at LaSalle College Vancouver must submit the following:

  • Online application form, completed with $150 payment
  • Admissions interview (in-person, online or by phone)
  • A completed and signed enrollment agreement
  • Bachelor degree program applications require an essay. Minimum of 500 words for the Bachelor of Design in Fashion Design and minimum of 250 words for other bachelor degree programs
  • Bachelor of Design in Fashion Design requires a portfolio. Please contact your admissions representative for information
  • Proof of secondary school graduation (with official English translations)
  • A photocopy of valid passport
  • A photocopy of a valid study permit
  • Proof of English proficiency
