Julia Hung - Fashion Faculty

Julia is a passionate educator and designer with 30 years of extensive experience in the fashion industry. She has been an instructor at LaSalle College Vancouver since 2007.

In Vancouver, Julia earned a Diploma in Fashion Design from Helen Lefeaux Inc. School of Fashion Design, where she received the Golden Bobbin Award for the top-honored student. In Seoul, Korea, Julia earned a MA in Fashion Design from the prestigious Ewha Womans University.

Julia has been a successful entrepreneur with “Julia Lee Couture” for 15 years in Vancouver and Seoul, Korea. She was featured in The Province Newspaper, Real Weddings Magazine, The Joongang Ilbo Newspaper, and The Chosun Ilbo Newspaper publications.

Julia has always shared her knowledge, professional experiences and passion for fashion design in an educational environment. She currently teaches fashion illustration, fashion design and fashion concepts. She enjoys supporting and developing students in their journey to explore their talents, passions, and most importantly their potential to exceed beyond themselves.
