LaSalle College Vancouver’s Summer Creative Camps are new immersive, hands-on, week-long experiences for high school students ready to explore careers in:

  • Filmmaking

Held at our brand-new campus, these camps provide access to real college studios, kitchens, labs, and soundstages, all taught by industry experts.

FASHION

July 6–10, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Visual Style Lab | Fashion, Styling & Photography

Step into the world of fashion storytelling. Students move from concept to final shoot while learning how trends become visual narratives.

During the week, students will:

  • Research and analyze fashion trends
  • Develop original styling concepts
  • Plan and execute a fashion editorial
  • Style and photograph original looks
  • Produce an Instagram-ready fashion spread

Love cooking shows, baking reels, or experimenting in the kitchen? Students build hands-on culinary skills while exploring how real kitchens operate and how chefs turn technique into creativity.

  • Explore baking and pastry essentials

  • Explore player experience and mechanics

Design Studio Lab | Graphic Design & Interior Design

Explore how ideas become visual experiences. Students learn how designers think, research, and create impactful visual and spatial concepts.

  • Explore typography, color, layout, and imagery
  • Conduct visual research and mood development
  • Develop branding concepts
  • Create a polished, portfolio-ready design project

FILM

August 4–7, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Film Lab | Filmmaking & Digital Storytelling

Experience the full filmmaking process. Students collaborate in small production teams to plan, shoot, edit, and screen a finished short film. (Please note there will be no classes on Monday, August 3 due to B.C. Day)

During the week, students will:

  • Develop a story and plan production
  • Work with professional film equipment
  • Rotate through on-set roles
  • Shoot in a studio environment
  • Edit footage into a finished short film
  • Screen their completed project
