What is Co-op?
A co-op education combines academic excellence with practical, real-world industry experience—ensuring graduates are prepared to meet workforce demands from day one. Through structured, supervised work placements, students gain paid professional experience, develop essential workplace skills, and build valuable industry networks before graduation. This hands‑on exposure strengthens résumés, boosts career readiness, and improves long‑term employment outcomes. Supported by LaSalle College Vancouver’s dedicated Career Services team, co‑op students receive guidance in résumé development, interview preparation, and employer placement—helping them transition smoothly from education to employment.

Programs with Co-op Option
These programs are offered with a co-op option. Upon completing the first 4 quarters, the co-op portion consists of 770 hours of related work experience, completed over a period of up to 12 months. Students can also choose to take an optional break of up to 150 days between co-op terms.
