Overview

The Architectural Building Technology program at LaSalle College Vancouver combines design theory, drafting, and building science in one hands-on diploma. Study residential, commercial, and mixed-use construction as you develop the technical, visual, and problem-solving skills to turn architectural concepts into real-world building solutions.

About the Architectural Building Technology Program

This architectural building technology diploma covers design theory, building science, and hands-on technical training across 4 quarters of course content. The curriculum prepares you to plan, draft, and visualize three-dimensional spaces for residential, commercial, and mixed-use environments using advanced computer-aided design tools. You will produce building solutions that meet functional, sustainable, and code-compliant standards while developing the ability to think critically, design responsibly, and communicate your ideas through 2D and 3D formats.
  • This program/course is not eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).  Click here for more information about PGWP and to see our eligible courses.
