Melissa Chan - Interior Design Faculty

Melissa graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with a degree in Interior Design. As a student, she showed a keen interest in designing furniture pieces, which led to her having one of her designs being chosen to be displayed in the school exhibition. After graduation, she spent the next 20 years managing interior design projects from concept to completion. Her projects consisted of design-build and renovation of single and multi-family residences, condominiums, offices, all of which included designing custom furniture pieces for clients. After coming to Canada, she went back to school and has since worked in the kitchen and bath industry as well as in the lighting industry. She is currently employed as a designer in a company that manufactures custom millwork and cabinetry for architects, designers, and builders. She is also a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and the Decorators & Designers Association of Canada (DDA).
